What matters in the era of AI?

The work of communication consultants is increasingly intertwined with the operation of AI. However in the era of AI we all need a human touch, a human perspective and communication support. I believe that good communicators understand the changing context, the moral challenges, when deciding about AI results. Our task is to think critically regarding AI, and add to the results, alongside good prompts.
As Melving Kranzberg said: "Technology is neither good nor bad; nor is it neutral". My communication doctoral studies helped me acquire a different perspective on tech-society related issues and on the phenomenon of AI. We can decide whether to use tech for empowerment or to reinforce inequality. It's a choice we can make every day. With a single post share we can feed the spread of the fake news algorhytm or we can choose to communicate the truth, the facts.

My
Story
I like to observe my environment, to listen stories, to discover, to study.
We can take all kinds of life experiences into our professional communication work, which might help us to understand a target group better, to raise awareness for an issue and empower others for change. For me, this is what motherhood, an illness, and moving abroad has brought.
In the summer of 2024, I moved from Hungary to Slovenia with my husband and my little daughter. Expat life brought a special color to my life with its new framing, community, and environment. I am grateful to be able to keep learning: sometimes about customs through a new language, sometimes from the trees in the forest.
I started my career in communication nearly two decades ago, but as a child of trading parents I had the opportunity to practice what it is like to start a conversation, to get to know a customer, to help a decision with the right message to any type of person long before my job.
Over the years, I developed local communications for global brands in various industries and positions: tech company, NGO, financial institution, premium car brand, cultural festival, data-driven marketing association or even a start-up.
